Replacing windshield and tailgate glass wiper blades (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

            0

We replace the brushes when the quality of cleaning the windshield deteriorates, approximately once a year - preferably before the start of the autumn-winter period.

The length of the left brush is 550 mm, the right one is 480 mm, the trunk door (hatchback) is 450 mm. The brushes should be periodically washed under the tap with warm water and soap.

If the brushes are heavily soiled or covered with ice, they should be removed and cleaned.

To do this, move the lever with the brush away from the windshield.

Be careful when removing the wipers: the spring may cause the lever to drop sharply onto the glass and break it.

If you need to replace the brush retainer, move it off the brush axis and remove it.

Similarly, remove the other windshield wiper blade and the trunk lid wiper blade.

We install the brushes in the reverse order.
