Checking and replacing windshield wiper blades (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

1. Check the operation and condition of the windshield and rear window wiper blades (rear window wiper is installed on some cars), if defects are found, determine the cause and eliminate it.

2. Brushes should be washed with a weak solution of detergent.

3. Periodically tighten loose windshield wiper connections.

4. To replace the brush, lift the brush holder assembly by the lever, press and remove the clips and disengage the brushes from the lever and axle (see photo).

5. Installation is performed in the reverse order. The new brush must be exactly the same size as the one being replaced.
