2. After a long trip or a trip with a heavy load (towing a trailer, driving at high speeds, or in hot weather) wait at least 30 minutes.
3. Place the car on a level horizontal surface, apply the handbrake, start the engine and press the brake pedal. Move the selector lever from the Park position through the entire range and return it to the Park position again.
4. The transmission fluid dipstick is located at the rear of the engine compartment, on the passenger side. Remove the dipstick from the hose (the engine continues to idle), wipe the dipstick.
5. Insert the dipstick back into the pipe.
6. Remove the dipstick and check the fluid level (see photo). The level should be in the range marked HOT FULL. When the transmission is cold, the level should be in the COLD FULL range. If it is necessary to add fluid, carefully pour the required amount of fluid of the appropriate brand through the dipstick pipe. Add fluid through a funnel in small portions (the amount of liquid between the two HOT marks is approximately 0.57 l).

7. If the liquid is black or has a "burnt" smell, then the liquid must be replaced (see below).
