Removal the rear license plate light, replacing the bulb (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We carry out the work to replace the lamp or the license plate light itself and when dismantling the trunk lid.

We show how to replace the right headlight bulb; we replace the left headlight bulb in the same way.

Using a screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that secure the light.

We take the lantern out of the trunk lid.

Turning the lamp socket counterclockwise, we remove it from the flashlight housing..

…and remove the flashlight housing.

The lamp holder cannot be removed because it does not have a connector block and is integral with the wiring harness.

We take the lamp out of the socket.

We install the new W5W lamp in the reverse order.

The lamp holder is sealed in the body of the flashlight with a rubber ring.

If the sealing ring is torn, cracked or has lost elasticity, it must be replaced.
