Replacing the bulb in the interior light, removing the light (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the interior light for replacement or when replacing the ceiling upholstery.

Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.

We use a screwdriver to pry up the lampshade diffuser…

…and remove the diffuser.

We take out the interior lighting lamp and replace it with a new C10W lamp.

To remove the lampshade…

…use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the lampshade.

We remove the wire blocks from the retainer on the lamp housing.

Using a thin screwdriver, pry up the edge of the lamp's wiring block..

…and, having disconnected the wiring block of the ceiling light from the wiring harness block, we…


…and, having disconnected the wiring block of the ceiling light from the wiring harness block, we remove the ceiling light.

We install the interior lighting lamp in the reverse order.
