Replacing the license plate light bulb (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

To replace the license plate light bulb, follow these steps:.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Press the lamp housing in the direction of the arrow. This will disengage the retaining tab on the lamp housing from the edge of the hole in the trunk lid trim.

NOTE: The mounting elements on the license plate light housing are located as follows: A - retaining lug; B - elastic retainer.

3. Remove the light from the hole in the cover.





4. Turn the cartridge counterclockwise and remove it from the flashlight body.



5. Pull the baseless lamp out of the socket.



6. Insert the new bulb.

7. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.
