1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the front bumper see. "Removal and installation the front bumper").
NOTE: It is necessary to remove the front bumper because it covers the bolt that secures the headlight to the fender.
3. Press the locking tab of the wiring harness connector and disconnect the connector from the headlight connector.
NOTE: To gain easy access to the electrical connectors on the left headlight...
... remove the filler neck of the windshield washer reservoir. To do this, slightly rocking, pull the neck vertically upwards. The neck is installed in the opening of the reservoir with tension and is sealed with a rubber ring.
4. Press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the turn signal lamp socket connector.
5. Remove the three bolts securing the headlight assembly to the wing and radiator frame (figure 10.8).
6. Unscrew the lower bolt securing the headlight to the wing.
7. Pry up the retainer...
8. ...and remove the headlight from the car.
9. If necessary, remove the five screws...
10. ...and detach the decorative trim from the headlight.
11. Install the headlight in the reverse order of removal.
12. Check that the headlights are adjusted correctly and adjust them if necessary (see "Checking and adjusting headlights").
