Replacing license plate lights (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need a special plastic mounting spatula or a flat-blade screwdriver.



The license plate lights are installed on the trunk lid (sedan) or tailgate (hatchback) in the upper part of the license plate recess.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Press the lamp housing in the direction of the arrow. This will disengage the retaining tab on the lamp housing from the edge of the hole in the trunk lid trim.

NOTE: The following fastening elements are located on the license plate light housing: A - retaining lug; B - elastic retainer.

3. Remove the light from the hole in the cover.



4. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise, disconnect it from the flashlight housing and remove the flashlight.



5. Install the license plate light in the reverse order of removal.

6. Replace the second lamp in the same way.
