Removal and installation of the body electrical equipment control unit (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Remove the lower decorative panel of the instrument panel (see "Removal and installation the lower decorative panel of the instrument panel").

NOTE: The body electrical control unit is mounted on the left side of the body, behind the instrument panel mounting block.

3. Press the holders...



4. ...and remove the control unit from the bracket on the body.





5. Squeeze the clips and disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the block one by one.



6. Remove the block.

7. Install the electrical equipment control unit in the reverse order of removal. When installing the unit, connect the wiring harness pads in accordance with the plate on the unit.
