Removal the electronic control unit (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

We remove the electronic engine control unit for replacement or when performing car repair operations associated with the possibility of damaging the electronic components of the unit (for example, when drying a car in a drying chamber after painting, etc.).

Remove the battery (see Removal the battery).



We pull forward the locking device of the engine control system wiring harness block…



…and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the control unit connector.



Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the three nuts securing the block to the bracket…





…and remove the control unit.

We install the electronic control unit in the reverse order.
