Removal the crankshaft position sensor (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

We remove the sensor for inspection or replacement, as well as during engine repair.

With the ignition off…



…press the spring lock of the engine management system wiring harness connector and disconnect the connector from the sensor wiring connector.



Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the screw securing the sensor to the cylinder block.



We remove the sensor from the socket in the cylinder block.

The connection is sealed with a rubber ring, which is best replaced with a new one during installation.

We install the crankshaft position sensor in the reverse order.
