Crankshaft position sensor (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

Caution: Every time the crankshaft position sensor is removed or replaced, it is necessary to perform the "training" procedure of the crankshaft position measuring system.

1. Remove the starter.

2. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (1) through the wheel well opening.



3. Clean the surfaces around the sensor.

4. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt.



Tightening torque 25 Nm.

5. Remove the sensor.

Installation

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
