Knock sensor — removal and installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Early models



1. Remove the intake manifold.

2. Carefully remove the rubber plugs from the block camber cover.

2. Carefully remove the rubber plugs from the block camber cover.


3. Disconnect the knock sensor wiring connectors.

4. Remove the knock sensors.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Tightening torque 20 Nm.

Late models



1. Remove the left or right front wheel.

2. Working through the wheel arch opening, disconnect the knock sensor connector.

3. Loosen the knock sensor bolt (739) and remove the sensor (718).

Tightening torque 25 Nm.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Correctly orient the sensor and strictly observe the tightening torque.
