With the ignition off…
…by pressing the locking lever of the engine management system wiring harness connector…
…disconnect the wiring harness connector from the knock sensor.
Using a 12 mm socket, unscrew the bolt securing the sensor to the cylinder block…
…and remove the sensor.
Before installing the sensor, clean the cylinder block lug under the knock sensor.
We install the knock sensor in the reverse order.
Tighten the knock sensor mounting bolt to the specified torque (see Applications).
