Removal the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the absolute air pressure sensor in the intake manifold for replacement.

With the ignition off…

…by pressing the locking device of the engine management system wiring harness connector…


…by pressing the locking device of the engine management system wiring harness connector…

…disconnect the wiring harness connector from the absolute pressure sensor.


…disconnect the wiring harness connector from the absolute pressure sensor.

We disconnect the vacuum supply tube from the intake manifold from the sensor fitting.


We disconnect the vacuum supply tube from the intake manifold from the sensor fitting.



Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the bolt securing the sensor bracket to the front panel…


Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the bolt securing the sensor bracket to the front panel…

…and remove the sensor assembly with the bracket.

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the nut of the bolt securing the sensor to the bracket, holding the…


Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the nut of the bolt securing the sensor to the bracket, holding the bolt from turning with a wrench of the same size.

Having unscrewed the nut of the other bolt in the same way, we take out the bolts..



…and remove the sensor from the bracket.


…and remove the sensor from the bracket.

We install the absolute air pressure sensor in the intake manifold in the reverse order.
