Removal the electronic control unit (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the electronic engine control unit for replacement or when performing car repair operations associated with the possibility of damaging the electronic components of the unit (for example, when drying a car in a drying chamber after painting, etc.).

Before removing the control unit, disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.



By pressing the locking lever of the engine management system wiring harness connector…



…we lower the brake shoe bracket…



…and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the control unit connector. Similarly, disconnect the other wiring harness connector from the control unit connector.





Using a Torx T-25 key, unscrew the three screws securing the block to the bracket..



…and remove the control unit.

We install the electronic control unit in the reverse order.
