Removal
Place the vehicle in a work area, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

Unscrew the two self-tapping screws 1, Figure 7-51, and remove the cover 2.
Loosen the mounting block fastening screw 1, Figure 7-52. Slide mounting block 2 forward and lower it down.

Disconnect the connector and unscrew the two nuts 2, Figure 7-53, of the electrical package control unit 1, on the bracket mounted on the studs of the vehicle body.
Remove the electrical package control unit from the bracket.
