Table 7-13. Data for checking the coolant temperature gauge sensor
Oil pressure warning light sensor. The sensor is mounted on the engine cylinder head. Sensor contacts should close and open at a pressure of 20-60 kPa (0.2-0.6 kgf/cm2).
Fuel gauge sensor. The sensor is combined with an electric fuel pump installed in the fuel tank. The sensor has a variable resistor made of nichrome wire. The moving contact of the resistor is moved by a lever with a float.
The data for checking the fuel level sensor are shown in fig. 7-46 and in table. 7-14. At control fuel levels, the resistance of the sensor must correspond to the values \u200b\u200bgiven in the table. Measure resistance between contacts «1» And «3» EBN·module connector.

Speed sensor
Microelectronic, based on «hall effect» and produces rectangular voltage pulses. The output voltage of the low level of the pulse must be no more than 1 V, and the high level - no less than 5 V.
One kilometer of the distance traveled corresponds to 6000 sensor pulses.
