Removal the throttle position sensor (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the throttle position sensor for replacement.

With the ignition off…

…by pressing the locking device of the engine management system wiring harness connector…


…by pressing the locking device of the engine management system wiring harness connector…

…disconnect the wiring harness connector from the sensor.


…disconnect the wiring harness connector from the sensor.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the sensor to the throttle assembly.


Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the sensor to the throttle assembly.



We remove the sensor from the throttle valve axis.


We remove the sensor from the throttle valve axis.

Before installing the throttle position sensor, make sure that the throttle valve is completely closed.

We install the sensor on the throttle assembly so that the tail of the valve axis enters the groove of the sensor.

We fasten the sensor with screws and connect the wiring harness block to it.
