Removal the intake manifold air temperature sensor (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We remove the air temperature sensor in the intake manifold (complete with air supply hose to throttle assembly) when replacing a sensor or hose, or when dismantling the engine.

With the ignition off…



...by pressing the spring lock of the engine management system wiring harness connector, we disconnect the connector from the air temperature sensor.



Using pliers, squeeze the ends of the crankcase ventilation hose clamp and slide the clamp along the hose.



We remove the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover pipe.



Remove the crankcase ventilation hose (idle circuit) from the intake manifold fitting and the air supply hose to the throttle assembly from the throttle assembly branch pipe (see Removal the throttle assembly).

Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the air supply hose to the throttle assembly on the air filter cover pipe..



…we remove the hose from the air filter cover branch pipe.



We remove the air supply hose to the throttle assembly from the engine compartment, complete with the air temperature sensor.

We install the hose with the air temperature sensor in the intake manifold in the reverse order.
