Removal procedure
Caution! Do not remove the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor from the air cleaner outlet hose. If the air cleaner outlet hose assembly needs to be replaced, replace it only with the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor installed.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector.
3. Loosen both air cleaner outlet hose clamps and replace the air cleaner outlet hose assembly with the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor installed.
Installation procedure
1. Install the air cleaner outlet hose with the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
2. Connect the IAT sensor connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
