Coolant temperature sensor (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

Note: Handle the sensor with care. Damage to the sensor will adversely affect the operation of the fuel injection system.

1. Drain the cooling system to a level below the sensor installation location.

2. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector (2).

Early models

Late models

3. Unscrew the sensor. Tightening torque 20 Nm.

Installation

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Note: Apply sealant to the sensor threads before installation.
