- remove the plug from the expansion tank, open the heater valve;
- disconnect the heater hose (upper) from the fitting on the car body;
- fill in coolant (8.0 l) through the neck of the expansion tank until a leak appears from the hose and the heater fitting;
- connect the heater hose to the fitting and close the expansion tank with a stopper;
- to remove air pockets, start the engine and let it idle until the coolant temperature is equal to the opening temperature of the main thermostat valve (80±2) °C. In this case, the inlet and outlet pipes of the radiator must be hot.
After the engine has cooled down, check the coolant level. If the level is below normal, and there are no signs of leakage in the system, then add fluid.
