- remove the cap from the expansion tank, open the heater tap;
- disconnect the heater hose (upper) from the fitting on the car body;
- fill the coolant (8.0 l) through the neck of the expansion tank until a leak appears from the hose and the heater fitting;
- connect the heater hose to the fitting and close the expansion tank with a plug;
- to remove air locks, start the engine and let it idle until the coolant temperature is equal to the opening temperature of the main thermostat valve (80±2)°C. The inlet and outlet pipes of the radiator should be hot.
After the engine has cooled down, check the coolant level. If the level is below normal and there are no signs of leakage in the system, then top up the fluid.
