The tension of the power steering pump drive belt is checked by deflecting the belt branch between the crankshaft and pump pulleys in its middle part. With a force of 100 N (10 kg s) the deflection value should be 10...12 mm.
The tension of the water pump drive belt is adjusted by moving the generator away from the engine with the nuts of the bolts securing the generator to the tension bar and to the generator bracket loosened.

Adjusting the tension of the drive belt of the hydraulic booster pump is carried out by moving the pump 7 (pic. 2-60), away from the engine with loosened pump mounting bolts.
