Replacing the alternator drive belt (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

In accordance with the maintenance regulations, we replace the alternator drive belt every 60 thousand km of travel. The belt must also be replaced if cracks, tears, and separation of the rubber from the fabric base are detected during the inspection of its condition.

We loosen the tightening of the nut fastening the generator to the tension bar and the nuts of the bolts of the lower generator mount. Having moved the generator to the cylinder block…



…we remove the belt from the pulleys of the generator, power steering pump and auxiliary drive.
