…we remove the guides from the grooves…

…and remove the rear part of the floor tunnel lining.
We hang up the rear wheels. We lower the parking brake lever completely.

Using a 10 mm spanner, turn the adjusting nut clockwise, tightening the cables until the rear wheels become difficult to turn.
After this, unscrew the nut until the rear wheels rotate freely. Check the parking brake adjustment - with the lever fully moving, 7-8 teeth of the ratchet device, the rear wheels should not rotate. Repeat the adjustment if necessary. If it is impossible to adjust the parking brake, you need to check the condition of the rear wheel brake mechanisms and, if necessary, replace the pads, drums and cables of the parking brake drive.
If you have a high "10" head, you don't have to remove the rear part of the floor tunnel lining. In this case, to provide access to the adjusting nut, remove the ashtray from the floor tunnel lining.

We make adjustments using the high head "10".
