Replacing the air filter element (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

The replaceable air filter element must be replaced every 10 thousand km. When operating the car in dusty areas, the mileage between element replacements should be reduced by 1.5–2 times. A deformed or damaged element must be replaced regardless of the mileage.

A faulty or heavily soiled air filter element can cause severe wear and loss of engine power.

Unfasten the four fasteners of the air filter housing cover: two on the left and one each in front and back.



We lift the lid..



…and remove the air filter element.



We clean the cavities of the housing and the air filter cover and install a new element in the reverse order. The rectangular shape of the filter element eliminates its incorrect installation in the filter housing.

Do not operate the vehicle with the filter element removed - this may damage the engine.
