2. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on stands.
3. Before making adjustments, be sure to generously lubricate the equalizer nut groove with universal grease.
4. Tighten the adjusting nut (see illustration) until the right rear wheel can still be turned backwards with both hands, but when trying to move forward, it locks up.
10.4. Without allowing the threaded end to turn, use pliers to turn the adjusting nut until the right rear wheel can still be turned backwards, but forwards are no longer possible
5. Release the parking brake lever and check that the rear wheels rotate freely in both directions.
6. Lower the vehicle.
