Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal/installation procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the decorative cover. See Section 1B, "Engine Mechanical System - 2.0 Diesel".



3. Disconnect the ECT sensor connector.

4. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

Tighten

Tighten the ECT sensor to 35 Nm (25.8 ft·lbs).
