Knock sensor (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Raise and secure the vehicle.

3. Disconnect the knock sensor connector.



4. Loosen the knock sensor mounting bolt.

5. Remove the knock sensor.

Installation procedure

1. Install the knock sensor together with the bolt.

Tighten

Tighten the knock sensor mounting bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb-ft).



2. Connect the knock sensor connector.



3. Lower the car.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
