Removal the battery (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

We remove the battery for replacement when it fails, as well as for charging it and when repairing the car.



Remove the protective cap from the wire terminal on the negative terminal of the battery.



Using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the clamp on the negative terminal of the battery and remove the clamp.

We remove the protective cap from the positive terminal of the battery and loosen the wire terminal with a 10 mm wrench..



…we remove the terminal from the positive terminal of the battery.





Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the two nuts securing the pressure bar.



We remove the pressure plate with the racks.

We remove the battery from the engine compartment.

We install the battery in the reverse order. In this case…



…we insert the hooks of the racks into the holes of the battery shelf.
