Attention. Always monitor the cleanliness of the terminals and clamps of the battery and the reliability of their connection. Remember that oxidation of the terminals and clamps, as well as careless connection, cause sparking at the point of unreliable contact, which can lead to failure of the electronic equipment of the car. It is also not allowed to check the operability of the generator with the engine running by removing the clamps from the battery.
When installing the battery on the vehicle, make sure that the wires are connected in accordance with the polarity indicated on their ends and the battery terminals (the positive terminal is larger than the negative one).
When charging the battery directly on the car from an external power source, be sure to disconnect it from the generator. The battery is connected to the "B+" terminal of the generator with a positive wire - the "+" tip, Figure 47.

Warning: In cases of slow driving or when the vehicle is stationary (for example, when driving slowly in the city, when driving short distances or in a traffic jam) to reduce the discharge of the battery, you should, if possible, turn off power consumers - rear window heating, seat heating.
Caution: Recharge the battery every month in case of difficult operating conditions and for vehicles with low mileage.
Low-mileage vehicles – vehicles that travel on average less than 10 km per trip daily, or vehicles with engine idling time exceeding 30% per day (for example, special vehicles, taxis and training vehicles).
Difficult operating conditions include parking outside in winter and intensive use of air conditioning in summer.
