Attention. The coolant level in the expansion tank must be between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks on the tank body 2, Figure 42, which is made of a translucent material that allows visual monitoring of the liquid level.
Warning. Check the level and open cap 1 of the fluid tank only when the engine is cold. After adding fluid, the cap must be tightly screwed in, as the system is under pressure when the engine is running and warmed up.
In cases where the fluid level is constantly decreasing and you have to top it up frequently, contact your ZAO GM - AVTOVAZ dealer.
Warning: Coolant is poisonous! Keep container tightly closed and out of reach of children.
Caution: Use of pure water as a coolant is only permitted in an emergency. Replace the water with the recommended coolant as soon as possible.
