With new overlays of the driven disk, the liquid level in the tank of the main cylinder 1, fig. 44, the hydraulic clutch release must be at the lower edge of the filler neck.
The car uses a hydraulic clutch drive with a backlash-free installation of the clutch release bearing, which does not require intervention during operation. Wear compensation of the driven disc linings occurs automatically inside the drive elements and is visually reflected in the change in the brake fluid level. The approach of the liquid level in the tank to the upper edge of the metal clamp of the tank fastening indirectly indicates the wear limit of the lining of the clutch disc.
When checking the condition of the drive elements, pay attention to the condition of the hoses and protective covers. If cracks are found, they must be replaced with new ones. In the event of a drop in the liquid level in the tank, it is necessary to find and eliminate leaks. After the leak has been eliminated, the liquid level in the tank must be ensured as with new linings of the driven disk, see above.
Replacement of the brake fluid in the clutch release hydraulic drive, as well as its replacement in the hydraulic drive of the working brake system, must be carried out after 3 years at the dealer of ZAO «GM - AVTOVAZ».
