This procedure is designed to remove air trapped in the system after disconnecting the hydraulic drive tubes during repairs. The clutch fluid level in the reservoir must be at least the MIN·mark when bleeding.
1. Put the rubber tube on the bleed screw. Place the other end of the tube in a transparent container half filled with clutch fluid.
2. Slowly depress the clutch pedal several times.
3. While depressing the clutch pedal, slowly unscrew the fitting so that the fluid begins to pour out through the tube. Screw the fitting.
4. Repeat step 3 until no more bubbles come out of the tube.
5. Add liquid to the tank to the required level.
