Removal and installation the lower decorative panel of the instrument panel (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Remove the two screws securing the lower decorative shield.



3. Pull the edge of the lower decorative shield and detach it from the instrument panel, overcoming the resistance of the spring clips.



4. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the exterior lighting control unit.





5. Press the latch...



6. ...and remove the diagnostic connector from the hole in the decorative shield, then remove the shield.

7. Install the lower decorative panel of the instrument panel in the reverse order of removal.
