1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the instrument cluster (see "Removal and installation the instrument cluster").
3. Remove the head unit audio system trim (see "Removal and installation the head unit of the audio system").
4. Pry up the edge of the upper small item compartment and remove the compartment from the instrument panel, overcoming the resistance of the spring clips.
5. Squeeze the release tab and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the Bluetooth antenna unit.
6. Remove the HVAC control unit (see "Removal and installation of the control unit for the heating, air conditioning and ventilation system").
7. Remove the four screws securing the side storage compartments for small items.
8. Overcoming the resistance of the spring clamps, remove the left...
9. ...and the right niche for small items.
10. Pry up the edge of the left end trim of the instrument panel and remove the trim, overcoming the resistance of the spring clips.
11. Remove the screw securing the left decorative trim on the instrument panel.
12. Disengage the frame latch from the edge of the left decorative trim...
13. ...and remove the left decorative trim, overcoming the resistance of the spring clips.
14. Remove the lower storage compartment (see "Removal and installation storage boxes").
15. Pull out the front passenger airbag wiring harness connector retainer and disconnect the connector.
16. Remove the two bolts securing the front passenger airbag to the instrument panel frame.
17. Remove the upper screw securing the right decorative trim on the instrument panel.
18. Pry up the edge of the right end trim of the instrument panel and remove the trim, overcoming the resistance of the spring clips.
19. Remove the second screw securing the right decorative trim panel of the instrument panel.
20. Disengage the frame latch from engagement with the edge of the right decorative trim...
21. ... detach the trim from the instrument panel frame, overcoming the resistance of the spring clips.
22. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wire harness connector from the audio input connector.
23. Press the latch and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the USB slot.
24. Remove the right instrument panel trim panel assembly with the front passenger airbag module.
25. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
