Reminder of an unfastened seat belt

The passenger seat belt indicator is located above the glove compartment.
When the ignition is turned to the ON position, the indicator light and warning sound come on for a few seconds to remind you to fasten your seat belts.
When you fasten the seat belt, the indicator light flashes.
If the seat belt remains unfastened while the vehicle is moving, the warning lights and buzzer will sound again.
Once the seat belt is fastened, the indicator and sound signals turn off.

Charging system indicator
Lights up
Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out shortly after the engine starts.
Lights up when the engine is running
Stop and turn off the engine. The battery is not charging. Engine cooling may be impaired.
Contact a service station for assistance.
Malfunction indicator
Lights up
Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out shortly after the engine starts.
Caution: When this indicator illuminates, it indicates a problem that requires attention. Driving with the malfunction indicator illuminated may damage the emission control system and affect fuel economy and vehicle performance. Contact a service station immediately to have the problem corrected.
This malfunction indicator light (MIL) illuminates when there is a malfunction in the emission control system components and related subsystems.
This indicator remains illuminated as long as the engine control module (ECM) detects a malfunction. If a severe misfire is detected, the MIL will flash continuously. A severe misfire can cause damage to the catalytic converter.
This malfunction indicator also lights up when there is a malfunction of the diesel particulate filter. In this case, you should immediately contact a service station for repair.
Cm. Diesel particulate filter.
Your car's electronic control system will go into emergency mode so that you can continue driving. At the same time, you should immediately contact a service station to fix the problem.
If the MIL comes on briefly and then goes off again, the system is operating normally and there is no malfunction.

On vehicles with an electromechanical parking brake, the parking brake indicator lamp comes on briefly when the engine is started
If the indicator lamp does not light or does not stop flashing, contact an authorized service center.
Parking brake warning light
On vehicles with an Electric Parking Brake (EPB), the parking brake warning indicator should illuminate briefly when the ignition switch is turned to the ON/START position.
If it does not light, it needs to be repaired so that it is ready to warn you of a problem.
If this lamp lights up, it indicates a malfunction that causes the parking brake system to operate in a limited mode. You can continue driving, but try to contact a service station as soon as possible.
On vehicles with an electromechanical parking brake

Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Warning Light
Lights up
Lights up for a few seconds after the ignition is turned on. The system is ready for operation when the control indicator goes out.
If the indicator light does not go out after a few seconds or if it comes on while driving, the ABS system is faulty. The vehicle's braking system continues to operate, but without the ABS function.
Cm. Anti-lock braking system (ABS).
All wheel drive indicator
This indicator flashes when the all-wheel drive system is temporarily disabled and remains on if there is a fault with the all-wheel drive system.
If the all-wheel drive indicator lights up, you should contact a car service center as soon as possible to fix this problem.
Cm. Permanent all-wheel drive system.
Downhill Assist Indicator
Lights up
Active/Not Ready/Warning indicator
The Downhill Assist System active indicator lights up green and the Downhill Assist System not ready indicator lights up yellow.
Downhill assist system active indicator is on (green light) when the system is ready for use and flashes (green light) when starting the system by pressing the corresponding button located in the center of the dashboard.
Features of the Downward Assistance System Unreadiness Indicator:
- Blinking (yellow light) indicates that the downhill assist system is not ready for operation due to overheating (about 350-400°C) of the rubbing parts (front shoe) as a result of strong or repeated braking. This indicator will go out when the temperature of the rubbing parts decreases (front shoe) to a level not exceeding 350°C.
- Continuous glow (yellow light) indicates that the normal operation of the system is disrupted due to overheating (more than 400°C) of rubbing parts (front shoe) as a result of strong or repeated braking.
- This indicator also goes out when the temperature of the rubbing parts decreases (front shoe) to a level not exceeding 350°C.
- Flashing and illuminating the Downhill Control System (DCS) Not Ready/Malfunction Indicator Light indicates that the brake pads need to cool down (avoid using the brakes for as long as possible). The above temperature may vary slightly depending on the condition of the car, external conditions (season, air temperature) and other factors.
Speed-sensitive power steering warning indicator
