The brake/clutch fluid level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.

When adding it, ensure maximum cleanliness, since contamination of the brake fluid may cause problems with the brake system. To eliminate the cause of the brake fluid leak, contact a service station.

Use only brake fluid approved for use in this vehicle.

See "Brake Fluid" in Recommended working fluids and lubricants.

Caution: Before removing the tank lid, make sure the area around the lid is completely clean.

Contamination of the brake fluid and clutch fluid can cause the system to malfunction, resulting in costly repairs.

Caution: Using brake fluid other than that recommended by GM may result in corrosion of brake system components. Corrosion may impair the operation of the brake system and lead to an accident.

Warning: Excess brake fluid/hydraulic clutch fluid may cause a fire.

Do not overfill the tank. Engine fire may cause injury, damage to the vehicle and other property.

Caution: Do not dispose of used brake/clutch fluid with household waste.

Use only locally approved methods for disposal of automotive waste.

Used brake/clutch fluid and their containers are potentially hazardous and may cause harm to health and the environment.

Caution: Brake fluid is an aggressive substance and can cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes.

Avoid contact of brake/clutch fluid with skin or eyes. If contact occurs, immediately wash the affected area thoroughly with soap or a special cleaner.
