1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Pry up the edge of the automatic transmission selector linkage trim and detach the linkage trim from the decorative trim strip of the floor tunnel trim.

3. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the selector lever trim connector, then remove the trim.

4. Pull up the decorative cover and remove it from the floor tunnel trim.
5. Move the front seats forward as far as they will go.

6. Remove the screws securing the rear floor tunnel trim on the left and right.
7. Move the front seats all the way back.

8. Pry up the edge of the right side panel of the floor tunnel trim and remove the side panel, overcoming the force of the clamps.

9. Using a screwdriver, push out the piston core securing the left side panel of the floor tunnel trim...

10. ...and remove the piston.

11. Remove the left side panel of the floor tunnel trim, overcoming the force of the clamps.

12. Turn one bottom...

13 - and one upper screw of the front fastening of the floor tunnel trim on the left and right.

14. Lift the rear edge of the floor tunnel trim and remove it from the parking brake lever...

15. ...then remove the pins of the front edge of the trim from the holes in the instrument panel console.

16. Lift up the rear section of the floor tunnel trim.

17. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the cigarette lighter, then remove the floor tunnel trim from the passenger compartment.
18. Install the floor tunnel lining in the reverse order of removal.
