Removal and installation the front seat (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: 10 mm and TORX T50 keys, a plastic mounting blade or a flat-blade screwdriver.

NOTE: The work is shown for the left seat, the right seat is removed in the same way.


1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the bolt securing the seat belt bracket to the front seat...

3. ...and remove the bracket from the seat bracket.

4. Press the latch...

5. ...and move the rear edge of the seat belt cover away from the seat...

6. ...then remove the bracket from under the casing.

7. Move the seat forward as far as it will go.

8. Pry up the decorative cover of the rear seat mounting bolt and remove the cover.

9. Remove the two rear seat mounting bolts.

10. Disengage the front seat mounting hooks from the brackets in the body floor and move the seat back.

11. After unfastening the Velcro fastener, open the valve in the floor mat under the seat.

12. Pull out the retainer and disconnect the seat wiring harness connector from the connector in the body floor.



13. Remove the seat from the vehicle interior.

14. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal.
