Models before 1994.
1. Fully lower the window glass and disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Remove the screw caps and unscrew the armrest mounting screws (see photo).


3. On manual window models, remove the window handle. On power window models, pry the switch panel off and disconnect the connector (see photo).

4. Using a putty knife or large screwdriver inserted between the door trim panel and the door frame, pry up and release the latches around the entire perimeter of the panel.
5. After releasing the latches, detach the door trim panel and remove it from the vehicle.
6. To access the interior of the door frame, carefully, so as not to tear it, pry up and move the water-protective screen aside (see photo).

7. Before installing the door panel, make sure all the latches are present, install any missing latches.
8. Install the panel in place and, pressing the latches, press the panel into the door. Install the armrest and secure with screws. Install the window lifter handle or switch block.
Models since 1995.
9. Disconnect the battery from ground.
10. Remove the door handle trim by carefully prying it up and pulling it towards you (see photo).

11. On models with manual window lift, remove the window lift handle.
12. Remove the two screws and the inner door slam handle (see photo).

13. Remove the door switch panel by carefully prying it up and off the latches (see photo). When removing, push the panel back to disengage it from the front latch. Twist and disconnect the small speaker connector.


14. Remove the top decorative trim by prying it up and off the latches.
15. Carefully pry up and remove the armrest screw covers, unscrew the screws and remove the cover.
16. Using a special spatula, remove the door trim panel from the latches (see photo).

17. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
