Replacing an additional brake light (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: a 10 mm spanner, a special plastic mounting blade or a flat-blade screwdriver.

NOTE: The work is shown on the example of a car with a sedan body.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. From the trunk, squeeze the latch on the bottom of the rear shelf and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the additional brake light.



3. Remove the rear shelf trim (see "Removal and installation of interior trim").



4. From the inside of the shelf trim, unscrew the two screws securing the lantern.





5. Press the plastic clips...



6. ...and detach the lantern from the trim.



7. Install the additional brake light in the reverse order of removal.
