Removal and installation an additional brake light (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Tahoe, type 1



1. Turn the light control switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Loosen the screws. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

3. Remove the additional brake light.

3. Remove the additional brake light.


4. Disconnect the connector.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tahoe, type 2



1. Turn the light control switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Remove the rear roof molding.

3. Remove the left and right rear door trims.

4. Disconnect the connector (4).

4. Disconnect the connector (4).


5. Disconnect the clamps securing the wire and connector of the additional brake light.

6. Loosen the screws (2). Tightening torque 2 Nm.

7. Remove the additional brake light (1) and take out the seals (3).

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.



Escalade



1. Raise the rear door glass.

2. Disconnect the clips from the additional brake light.

2. Disconnect the clips from the additional brake light.


3. Lower the rear door glass.

4. Disconnect the connector from the additional brake light.

4. Disconnect the connector from the additional brake light.


5. Remove the additional brake light.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal

Avalanche



1. Turn the light control switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Remove the rear upper trim.

3. Remove the cargo compartment center bridge.

4. Disconnect the connectors from the additional brake light.

5. Disconnect the pins and remove the additional brake light.

5. Disconnect the pins and remove the additional brake light.


6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
