We remove the right shield if it is necessary to access the drive belts of auxiliary units and the timing of the engine or if the mudguard is damaged.
Remove the left shield to access the bottom of the engine compartment on the left side.
Next, we will show the removal of the left shield, the right one is removed in the same way.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the retainer of the piston securing the mudguard to the lower cross member of the radiator frame
and take out the piston.
We also remove the other piston of the front fastening of the shield
and a piston connecting the shield to the fender liner.
Using the "10" key, we unscrew the two bolts securing the mudguard of the engine compartment to the side member
and remove the shield.
Install the splash guard in reverse order.
