Using a 10 mm socket head, unscrew the two bolts securing the lock

and we take it out from under the upper cross member of the radiator frame.

We remove the tip of the cable sheath from the slot in the housing

and the ball of the cable is from the hook of the lever.
To replace the hood lock drive cable

release the two cable sheath fastening pins

and tie a soft multi-core wire to it, which will help when laying a new cable.
Remove the lower trim of the instrument panel (see Removal the lower instrument panel trim).

We pull the cable into the car's interior.

We disconnect the sheath and the tip of the cable from the handle.
We tie the multi-core wire to the new cable and pull the cable into the engine compartment. We carry out further assembly in the reverse order.
