Hood Lock Drive Cable — Removal and Installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

1. Remove the two bolts on the upper left side of the radiator grille.

2. Disconnect the cable from the lock latch, spread the cable mounting brackets, unscrew the bolt securing the lock drive lever in the cabin and pull the cable through the engine compartment bulkhead into the passenger compartment (see photo).



3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
