1. Remove the rear bumper and bumper padding.
2. Open the lid.
3. Unscrew the left bolt.
4. Close the cover, remove both limiters and unscrew the torsion bar mounting bolts. Remove the cover torsion bar with limiters.
5. Disconnect the cables in the rear cover.
6. Open the lid and ask an assistant to hold the lid in this position.
7. Unscrew both bolts securing the lid drive cable.
8. Remove the hinge axle stops, knock out the axles and carefully remove the back cover.
9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
