Remove the top front timing cover (see Checking the condition and replacing the timing belt). Disconnect the wiring harness block from the phase sensor (see Removing the phase sensor) and set the wiring harness aside.
We remove the tips of high-voltage wires from the spark plugs (see Checking the condition and replacing spark plugs) and take the wires away from the cover.
Using pliers, we compress the ends of the clamp for attaching the hose of the main circuit of the crankcase ventilation system and, by sliding the clamp along the hose..
... remove the hose from the pipe of the cylinder head cover.
We remove the hose of the idle circuit of the crankcase ventilation system from the other branch pipe of the cover.
With the "10" head, we unscrew fifteen bolts securing the cylinder head cover.
The connection of the bolts with the cover is sealed with rubber rings installed in the grooves of the cover.
Pry off the cylinder head cover with a flathead screwdriver..
…remove it.
We take out the gasket from the grooves of the cylinder head cover.
We clean the remnants of sealant and oil and degrease the sealing surfaces of the cover and cylinder head.
We replace the gasket with a new one.
We install the gasket in the grooves of the cover and apply a thin layer of sealant on the surface of the gasket in the area of \u200b\u200bplugs 2 (see photo below) cylinder head and semi-annular surfaces 1 in contact with the camshaft bearing caps.
In order to avoid damage to the oxygen concentration sensors of the engine management system during repairs, only special sealant recommended for vehicles equipped with such sensors can be used.

Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
Evenly (from the middle to the edges) tighten the cover bolts to the prescribed torque (see Tightening torques for critical threaded connections).
