We remove the sensor to replace it if it fails, check the pressure in the engine lubrication system, and also if an oil leak occurs at the junction of the sensor and the oil pump housing.
By pressing the wire block latch..
... disconnect the block from the sensor.
We substitute a container under the sensor, because when it is unscrewed, a small amount of engine oil will pour out of the hole in the oil pump housing.
With a "24" ring wrench, we loosen the tightening of the insufficient oil pressure sensor..
... and turn it by hand from the hole in the oil pump housing.
The connection between the sensor and the oil pump housing is sealed with a copper washer.
In case of severe deformation or wear of the sealing washer, which caused oil leakage, replace the washer.
Install the sensor in reverse order. We check the oil level in the engine and top up if necessary.
